The demo is out today, on XBL, PSN and Origins for PC users. Played through it a bit and it's a lot like ME2 but the advancement system seems to have a bit more depth to it. Only played through with one class since I had to get into work but I like it so far. Also the multiplayer portion of the demo will be unlocked this weekend, so give that a shot as well. March 6th can't come soon enough.
I actually got to play the multiplayer last night! It's pretty much Horde mode meets Mass Effect. I'm already at level 17 with my Sentinel and I think I'm level 9 with my infiltrator. I'm pretty sure it's a faster leveling system in the demo so you can get a feel for what the higher levels can bring.
It's really fun when you're working together with 4 other people for crowd control, biotic combos and blowing shit up.
and since my character uses a lot of warp I made the character name "Warpney Houston" TechnoTonis: woman you touch my ass and I will throw you out the fuckin window
Apparently they are sending copies of ME3 into near-space with weather balloons and they will have GPS tracking on them so you can find them when they land. Weird.Good people drink good beer. -Hunter S Thompson
trying to join a match last night was a little spotty. I wonder if they are prepared to handle a huge influx of people jumping on their servers to play. Oh I also made it up to a level 13 Sentinel. TechnoTonis: woman you touch my ass and I will throw you out the fuckin window
Zack - what is your multiplayer build? Warpney Houston is my Sentinel. All I use is a SMG and both warp & throw are maxed out. I can spam warm every 2 seconds and throw is around one second.
I also made a CQC infiltrator that I named barEtta James. All I use it shotgun with the melee blade and the Choke III for added accuracy. I can cloak, shoot/melee kill one enemy and snap freeze another with cryo blastTechnoTonis: woman you touch my ass and I will throw you out the fuckin window
